Originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, Miller enters his ninth season at the helm of the Lakehawks after starting in August of 2015.
In eight seasons with the Lakehawks, Miller's teams and players have broken 39 of 45 marks in the programs all-time records book. He has amassed over 200 wins and in his third season became the all-time winningest softball coach in program history. Miller has initiated several camps and showcases on campus resulting in over 35+ participants eventually becoming student-athletes at LSSC. At the end of the 2016 season, he was voted in as the Mid-Florida Conference Softball Chair. and now holds the same title in the Sun-Lakes Conference. In eight years at Lake-Sumter, six of his teams have reached NJCAA All-Academic status while producing 20+ NJCAA All-Academic softball players.
The 2023 season marked the best finish in program history. A record setting 43 wins led to the program's first ever regular season conference championship and an FCSAA Region VIII title. LSSC finished runners-up in the Distric P champioship series, falling in game three in extra innings. Coach Miller boasted seven All-Region players, including Player of the Year (Molly Bender) and Pitcher of the Year (Ali Shenefield) while Miller himself collected Conference and Regional Coach of the Year awards.
In 2021, Coach Millers team tied the program record for wins in a single season with 32 while finishing fourth in the Mid-Florida Conference. It also produced, a team record, five All-Conference selections with SS Alyssa Opsahl (1st Team), OF Morgan Johnson (1st Team), Util Emily Kolwicz (1st Team), 2B Jeritza Montero (2nd Team) and OF Mackenzie Trgo (2nd Team). Johnson and Kolwicz went on to be selected to the Region 8 All-Region 2nd Team. As a team, the Lakehawks broke the record for runs scored (320) and runs batted in (252).
The 2018 season was one for the ages. Coach Miller became the winningest coach in program history while the team posted their first winning record (32-28) since 1999. A third place finish in the Mid-Florida Conference was the best finish since the conference moved to seven teams. The teams 32 victories were the most in a single season since the program started in 1998. Rachel Phelps became a two-time Academic All-America & two-time All-Conference selection while becoming the first LSSC softball player to earn the Jean Williams Scholar-Athlete award. As a whole, the team made their third consecutive season as an NJCAA All-Academic team with a 3.00 or higher team GPA.
Millers softball coaching career started in Citrus County where he was the head coach for the Citrus Chaos travel ball team. He got his start at the collegiate level while at Oklahoma Panhandle State University as the recruiting coordinator for the Aggie softball program.
Miller attended NCAA DII affiliate Northwest Missouri State University where he was the Assistant Softball Coach and the Graduate Assistant to the Sports Information Director. During his time at Northwest, the Bearcat softball program made back-to-back MIAA conference tournament appearances. The team also boasted a team batting average over .300 and the 2014 MIAA Freshman of the Year.
Before working with the NWMSU, Miller was a collegiate baseball player at the University of Rio Grande in Ohio and Oklahoma Panhandle State. As a pitcher, Miller earned Academic All-Conference honors for both schools he played at, finishing his career at OPSU as a catcher, hitting over .300.
He completed his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma Panhandle State in Exercise Science in 2012 before finishing his Masters in Applied Health and Sports Sciences at Northwest Missouri State in 2014. Miller authored and published his first book in December of 2019 titled The Island: An Unconventional Way of Coaching People, not Players. Which is available on Amazon.
After settling down at LSSC, Miller bought a house and currently resides in Inverness, Fla. with his wife, Candace. Candace is a former All-Conference college outfielder who started her career at Hillsborough CC. The couple has two boys, Beckett, who is eight, and Maddux, who is four.

Longwood
Division 1
Oxendine joined the Longwood baseball program in August, 2014 as an assistant coach, becoming the first coaching hire by head coach Ryan Mau, who took over the storied Lancer baseball program in July 2014.
An 11-year coaching veteran, Oxendine serves as Longwoods recruiting coordinator and hitting coach while working with the programs infielders. He returns for his third year at Longwood in 2017, coming off of a breakthrough 2016 season that saw the Lancers record the first 30-win campaign of the Division I era and finish tied for second in the Big South standings.
With Oxendine on staff the past two seasons, Longwood has seen numerous breakout performances at the plate. Among those is slugger Kyri Washington, who led the Big South with 15 home runs as a junior in 2015 and parlayed that success into a 23rd-round draft selection by the Boston Red Sox in the 2015 draft. Washington, who hit just .255 with 13 home runs in two seasons prior to Oxendines arrival, set career highs with a .279 batting average, .357 on base percentage, 52 RBI, 40 runs and 25 walks in just one year under Oxendine.
Oxendine also oversaw the development of infielder Alex Lewis, who broke out in 2016 to become one of the top hitters in the Big South. The All-Big South second team and Big South All-Tournament Team selection hit .369 with 22 doubles, five home runs, a .409 on base percentage and a team-leading 45 RBI last season after batting just .196 as a sophomore.
A 2004 graduate and two-year team captain at Coastal Carolina, Oxendines hiring at Longwood marked his return to the Big South Conference after serving as a volunteer assistant coach at his alma mater in 2011-12. Prior to his stint with the Chanticleers, he held collegiate coaching positions at Richmond (2007-10), Alabama (2006-07) and UNC Wilmington (2005-06). Additionally, he was the owner and operator of the Coastal Carolina Baseball Academy in Myrtle Beach, S.C. (2011), and was a hitting coach for the Single-A Myrtle Beach Pelicans in the Texas Rangers system in 2011. As volunteer assistant at Coastal Carolina, Oxendine was a member of the Big South Coach of the Year staff that led the Chanticleers to a 42-19 record, the Big South regular season and tournament championships and an NCAA Regional berth. Coastal Carolina swept the conference tournament, giving Oxendine five total Big South titles including the four he won as a catcher at Coastal. During his four-year stint at Richmond, Oxendine coached the Spiders catchers, outfielders and baserunners while overseeing a unit that finished in the Atlantic 10s top-five in steals in 2009 and 2010. In addition to Adam McConnell, who led all NCAA rookies with 31 steals in 2009, Oxendine also mentored All-Atlantic 10 catcher Chris Cowell who in 2010 hit .311 with 17 home runs and 52 RBI. Among Oxendines top recruiting successes at Richmond were Chris Bates, a left-handed pitcher selected in the 15th round by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2010; McConnell, a shortstop who was drafted in the 29th round by the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012; and Cowell, a catcher drafted in the 34th round by the Colorado Rockies in 2012. Oxendine also has a Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) title under his belt after coaching UNC Wilmington to the CAA Tournament title in 2006. He also has experience as a head coach, holding that post with the Front Royal Cardinals of the Valley Summer Baseball League in 2006. He was named Coach of the Year in the leagues Northern Division by the Northern Virginia Daily. A decorated catcher at Coastal Carolina from 2001-04, Oxendine helped the Chanticleers capture four consecutive Big South titles and advance to an NCAA Regional every year. An All-Big South second team and All-Big South Tournament selection as a senior, Oxendine was a career .281 hitter at Coastal Carolina while playing in 198 games. He was a member of Coastal Carolinas winningest class in school history, amassing a 171-80 record during his tenure. Following his collegiate career, he played professionally with the Chicago White Sox short-season affiliate in the Appalachian League. A native of Rowland, N.C., Oxendine graduated from Coastal Carolina in 2004 with a bachelor of science degree in physical education. He has a son, CJ.

In his role of volunteer assistant, Jackson will also be charged with coordinating and running Tennessee year round baseball camps.
As a student assistant coach in 2020 and 2021, Jackson worked closely with pitching coach [Frank Anderson](https://utsports.com/coaches.aspxrc=2955) to develop one of the country's top pitching staffs.
In 2021, Tennessee's pitching staff ranked in the top 10 nationally in strikeout-to-walk ratio (2nd 3.63), walks allowed/nine innings (3rd 2.49), WHIP (5th 1.16) and ERA (10th 3.51) as the Big Orange won 50 games for just the third time in program history and advanced to the College World Series for the first time since 2005.
During the COVID-shortened 2020 season, the Vols ranked among the top 25 in the nation in a handful of statistical categories, including: WHIP (0.94 - second), ERA (2.00 - fourth), hits allowed/nine innings (6.41 - 16th), shutouts (three - 12th), strikeout-to-walk ratio (4.89 - third) and walks allowed/nine innings (2.06 - third).
Prior to joining Vitello's staff as a student assistant, Jackson was a pitcher for the Vols from 2015-19. Under the guidance of Anderson, Jackson completely changed his delivery prior to the 2019 season and had a breakout campaign in which he helped lead the Big Orange to the NCAA regionals for the first time since 2005.
The Atlanta native went 1-0 and posted careers bests in ERA (1.40), appearances (21), innings pitched (19.1) and strikeouts (21) while holding opponents to a .119 batting average. During his tenure, two relievers earned First Team All-America East honors, with Wozniak earning Pitcher of the Year and Matt Chanin earning Rookie of the Year.

Aaron Hilt, a former standout collegiate baseball player and seven-year assistant coach at Ashland University, has officially taken the reigns of EMU's pitching staff ahead of the 2022 season.
In his first season on staff, Hilt helped lead the Eagles pitching staff set a new school record for strikeouts in a season (416). The previous high, set in 2012, was 389.
Hilt played a role in helping Eagle hurler Cameron Wagoner get drafted in the 11th round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers organization. The selection was EMU's fifth MLB draft pick in the last six years. Hilt also guided freshman hurler Adam Falinksi through a great rookie season, as the right-hander led all freshmen in the Mid-American Conference in innings pitched (58.0), strikeouts (61), and complete games (4). Additionally, Falinskis four complete-game efforts ranked third in NCAA DI baseball in 2022.
Hilt spent nearly a decade climbing the coaching ranks and adding responsibilities with Ashland. After returning to his alma mater in 2014, he was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2018.
The Eagles reached the NCAA Division II postseason four times in Hilt's seven seasons, and made a run to the College World Series in 2019. Hilt has been part of two College World Series teams, also reaching the final stage as a player in 2008. Ashland posted a 230-149 (.607) record during Hilt's run with Ashland.
The 2019 season was a record-setting year for Ashlands hurlers. Ashland won the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's regular season and tournament championships, as well as the Midwest Regional Tournament title, advancing to the NCAA College World Series. Eagle pitchers combined for a program-record-tying 48 wins, and set a new program and GLIAC standard for team strikeouts in a season with 537.
Hilt was directly responsible for the mentorship of numerous award-winning and now-professional pitchers while at Ashland. A pair of his players, Art Warren and Brandyn Sittinger, were selected in the MLB Draft in 2015 and 2016, respectively. A 2015 All-GLIAC selection, Warren made his MLB debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2019. Sittinger, a former GLIAC Pitcher of the Year, Midwest Region Pitcher of the Year, and First Team All-American while at Ashland, made his MLB debut for the Arizona Diamondbacks this season.
In addition to mentoring now-MLB players, Hilt has also helped his hurlers earn many other awards and finish atop the national leaderboards in multiple categories. Jake Baldwin (2015) earned Second Team All-American honors and finished with Ashland's best career win percentage under Hilt's leadership, while Chris Slavik (2019) and Perry Bewley (2021) both earned All-American status, and led all of Division II baseball in wins, and saves, respectively. Josh Smith (2021) also signed an independent professional contract this spring after studying under Hilt.
Before returning to Ashland as a coach, Hilt spent a pair of seasons at Wheeling University as a graduate assistant coach. He also held the title of Interim Head Coach for a brief stint with Wheeling.
During Hilts playing career at Ashland, he won a GLIAC Championship, one Midwest Regional championship, made three straight NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament appearances, and an NCAA Division II World Series appearance. In 2009, Ashland was ranked third in the nation, and received the program's highest national ranking. Hilt received All-GLIAC conference honors, All-Midwest Region honors, and is the only pitcher to throw a complete-game no-hitter since the 1994 season.
After playing at Ashland, Hilt continued his athletic career by signing a professional contract with the Normal Cornbelters in the independent Frontier League. He was selected as the fifth overall pick in the first round of the annual Frontier League draft.
A native of Richmond, Ohio, Hilt and his wife Kaleigh reside in Ypsilanti.
