Bing Tyus Yard
Bing Tyus Yard is one of the nicest state college facilities in Florida, giving student-athletes a state-of-the-art experience.
The field boasts full-size dugouts, bullpens with two mounds per side, sliding pit, air-conditioned press box with sound system, concession stand, VIP deck, electronic scoreboard, and a backstop net system that runs from dugout to dugout.
New bullpens for home team and visitors were added before the 2018 season.
Bing Tyus Yard also has professional lighting and seating for approximately 400.
The fully equipped locker room includes showers and a rest room, washers and dryers, 25 individual lockers, coaches offices, and wifi, all connected to the home dugout at beautiful Bing Tyus Yard.
From home plate, the field measures 330 feet along the left-field foul line, 375 feet in the left field power alley, 390 feet to center field, 375 feet to the right field power alley, and 330 feet down the right field foul line. The beautiful grass allows for year round play and gives the field a “golf course” appearance.
The clubhouse includes computer and AV equipment plus a large-screen TV.
The exterior clubhouse wall honors former Eagles.
The field also has a two-batting facility, which includes lighted 70-foot by 12-foot turf cages with net dividers. The facility lets two players to warm up at a time and can also be used by pitchers. The lights and roof enclosure make this area a great asset for rainy days and dark nights.
