Connors Park

Connors Park has served as the home for the Saints' baseball team since the program began in the 1950s. In recent years, it has enjoyed several enhancements including new brick dugouts, chair back seating, a new infield and a new team clubhouse located behind the visitor's dugout. The field is positioned between the J. Spencer & Patricia Standish library and the Marcelle Athletic Complex, making it the majestic centerpiece of the scenic Siena campus.

Connors Park is named in honor of the Connors Family, consisting of Michael Connors, his wife, Theresa, and their son, Brett, who played for the Saints from 2013-16. Their family has been dedicated and committed supporters of Siena College and the baseball program, and was the driving force behind the recent series of renovations that have transformed the baseball facility over the past few years. Leadership from the Connors Family spurred the renovations and, together with support from numerous former players and others, their efforts have helped remake the Siena Baseball facility into one of the premier baseball facilities in the Northeast.

In the summer of 2015, Connors Park began improvements. The renovations included a new seating system with stadium chair back and bleacher seating that will bring capacity to 370, a new press box with filming platform, new backstop (netting system), decorative entryway, outfield irrigation system to complement existing infield system, dugout repairs and safety netting, and enhanced storage space. Siena Field has continued with improvements as updates to all of the athletic facilities began in 2016. The field was part of Phase 1B which took place during the 2016 fall and winter months and was completed in 2017. The phase featured a relocation and enrichment of the indoor baseball and softball hitting cages as well as the facilities storage area located on the south end of the MAC.
