Facilities

In recent years, the student-athletes and supporters of Hartwick College have noticed some major upgrades in the athletic facilities on Oyaron Hill.

The Elting Fitness Center has been fully renovated with all new equipment from Keiser and Power Lift fitness. The Keiser fitness equipment is some of the most state of the art equipment in athletic fitness today. Elting has been equipped with six new Power Lift power rack Squat/Bench Olympic lift systems that allow 12 different users to be on the racks at once while lifting. Elting has also been updated with new cardio equipment from Keiser, Precor, and Expresso for training and rehab purposes. Physically, the facility has been expanded to 4,000 square feet and includes a plyometric/agility room.

Binder Gymnasium's Lambros Arena has undergone major renovations in both August 2008 and August 2011. The facility, which the College ear marked $750,000 towards improvements, has a new playing floor for both basketball squads as well as Hartwick's volleyball program. New lights, painted walls, new bleachers, and new floor highlighted the projects.

Wright Stadium received new turf in 2019. An end zone facility housing "The Hawks Nest" gives fans a chance to view the game via a second level glass windowed facility. The bottom level features a concession stand, ticket office, restrooms, as well as storage. Wright Stadium is home to the Hawks' football, field hockey, men's lacrosse, and women's lacrosse programs.

Elmore Field, the home of the Hawks' men's and women's soccer programs, is more pleasing to the eye during the season as sponsor boards have been added around the playing field - giving Elmore more of a "soccer feel". A Glenn "Mooch" Myernick Memorial, in honor of the late Hartwick soccer great, also sits between Binder Gym and the soccer field.
