Overview

The Gators' softball field, which opened in 1992, has played host to the 1994, 1995 and 1996 NCAA Division III Regional Softball Championships, as well as the 2004, 2008, and 2012 NCAC Softball Tournaments. It also regularly plays host to local and state high school playoff games. The newly-installed permanent outfield fence sits at 200 feet to left and right field and 210 feet to center field. The facility includes a batting cage, which sits behind the field.

The softball complex also features 25-foot long dugouts, a 25-foot high backstop, a full-field underground watering system, a full-field tarpaulin, an 8x15-foot electronic scoreboard, a fully-enclosed press box with internet and phone lines, a sound system, spacious locker rooms and a fully-enclosed permanent fence.
