    Albany State Golden Rams defeated Savannah State Tigers 21-18 at home on November 1, 2025 to clinch a berth in the SIAC Football Championship and lock up the No. 1 seed in conference play. The Golden Rams improved to 8-1 overall, 7-0 in conference. Two touchdown passes from QB Isaiah Knowles and a late defensive stop by Albany State to preserve the win.     Marauders Spoil Edward Waters’ Homecoming The Central State Marauders defeated the Edward Waters Tigers 21–17 Central State’s defense forced five interceptions and held Edward Waters to just 74 passing yards and 149 rushing yards. Senior linebacker Domonique Davis II recorded 13 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss. This victory closed Central State’s season with a 3–7 overall record and a 3–5 record in conference play.
